Welcome to KitchenCatalog, an iOS mobile application developed by Sora Studios ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using KitchenCatalog, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Description of Service
KitchenCatalog provides personal kitchen and pantry inventory management, expiry date tracking, and automated optical packaging metadata extraction powered by artificial intelligence.
2. Free Tier & Pro Subscriptions
KitchenCatalog offers two service tiers:
- Free Plan: Includes 5 free AI Vision scans per calendar month, unlimited manual item logging, and on-device expiry reminders.
- KitchenCatalog Pro: Unlocks unlimited AI scans, voice note context processing, and priority cloud acceleration via auto-renewable subscriptions (Weekly, Monthly, or Annual).
3. Subscription Terms & Apple Billing
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iOS Device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
4. Important AI Accuracy Disclaimer
AI packaging extraction is provided strictly on an automated, best-effort basis. Artificial intelligence may misread handwritten or faded expiration dates, allergens, or ingredients. You are solely responsible for inspecting physical food packaging to verify freshness, spoilage, and allergen safety before consuming any food. KitchenCatalog and Sora Studios disclaim any liability for illness, injury, allergic reactions, or food spoilage resulting from reliance on AI-extracted data.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use KitchenCatalog exclusively for lawful, personal, non-commercial kitchen management purposes. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application or its cloud proxy services.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sora Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use KitchenCatalog.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
